Catherine Chong

Catherine has been working in the nutrition field for almost 10 years. She spent her early years working as a clinical Dietitian at Tan Tock Seng Hospital in Singapore, a major acute care hospital and has gained extensive overseas experience in managing a wide range of medical conditions. She held roles that include clinical training, teaching, public speaking and community nutrition projects. She also has a well-rounded experience working with both young and older adults.

In 2014, she decided to return to Sydney and founded her own private practice where she now heads the DietitianChong team. Her interest is in preventative health and chronic disease management.

In addition, Catherine has received training in Motivational Interviewing from University of Michigan, a specialist counselling training that encourages behavior change. She has also undergone advanced nutrition counselling training workshop from the University of Iowa. Her unique counselling style has helped many to remove barriers to change and successfully adopt healthy eating habits. Catherine is also a Foundation Member of the Australian Society of Lifestyle Medicine.

Catherine can speak fluent Mandarin and Malay.

Deo Cleopas

Deo has approximately 10 years experience in international shipping and logistics, having worked in a managerial role where he had responsibility for administration, financial management and development of the company and its subsidiaries.

Having worked in a fast paced corporate world, Deo knows the challenges and the sacrifice of climbing the corporate ladder. Therefore he is passionate in helping busy individuals achieve a healthy balanced lifestyle through proper eating routine, healthy food, exercise and positive mind.

Deo is also as comfortable inside the boxing ring as in the corporate world. Outside his professional career, he is active in sparring sessions at local PCYC gym in North Sydney.

Jenn Madz

Senior Food Service Dietitian

Jenn has over 10 years experience in food industry, health promotion, corporate and food service settings. Her passion lies in finding food solutions for businesses and individuals, changing environments and implementing initiatives to make healthy eating and active lifestyles easier and achievable for all.

Organisations Jenn has worked for include: Central Sydney Area Health Service, Healthy Kids Association, Nestle, Michelle Bridges 12WBT, University of Sydney and the Australian College of Physical Education.

Holding qualifications as an Accredited Practicing Dietitian and Accredited Sports Dietitian, Jenn continues to consult as a private practitioner and consultant under her own small business Personalised Nutrition Services, P.Nut.S for short. She provides personalised food and nutrition services for individualised dietary support, recipe and meal plan development, marketing and communications, nutrition policy, product development and health promotion initiatives.

Outside her professional career, Jenn enjoys keeping herself active by hitting the pavement for a run or jumping on the bike to enjoy a bunch ride with mates. She’s not shy to take on a challenge and inspires us all with at least one big event completed each year. Go girl!

Perran Vulliez-Rousselet

Head Chef

Perran joined the team at DietitianChong in January 2017 as Head Chef. Her aim is to ensure that we only serve high end quality products to our clients, made fresh everyday with specially selected ingredients.

From a French background, Perran graduated from the Institut Paul Bocuse in Lyon, France. She earned her Diploma of Culinary Arts and Hotel management.

Perran developed her skills and love of food not only in France in some of the most prestigious Michelin Star restaurants, but also in USA, in Fine Dining restaurants and in Dubai, working in places such as Burj Al Arab, world's 7 stars palace, with only focus on details and client's utmost satisfaction.

With more than 12 years in the hospitality industry, Perran was looking for a new challenge. She decided to put her culinary skills to good use and help our community reach their healthy lifestyle goals. She wants to help change people's vision on healthy food and make sure everyone has access to fresh "home style" cooked meals everyday, introducing more flavors and variety into people's daily eating habits.

She believes that a world with "Good Food" is a place where "Good Health and Good Mood" strives.

Aside from being a Chef, Perran is also a mother of two, her other passion, that leads her to teach her kids to live a healthy and happy lifestyle - because you can never be young enough to learn good eating habits.

Vanessa Bui

Social Media Coordinator

Vanessa has over 6 years working in customer service in food & beverage and general medical practice. Working in those fields, not only does she get the opportunity to be in direct communication with customers but she also realised her keen interest in fine food, drinks, health and fitness. Like Virginia Woolf once said, ‘One cannot think well, love well, sleep well, if one has not dined well”. Vanessa strongly believes that we are what we eat and food and nutrients play a crucial part in the quality of life.

In her free time, she enjoys reading, cooking, traveling, exercising with her girls and graphic design.
